The monstrosities that inhabit this strange planet take pride in many of their daily practices. Said practices are to be done at certain times throughout the period of time they associate with the word “week”. One of their most popular rituals occur at the conclude of their said “week” period, which is assumed to be some sort of grace period, at a large depository of some sort. The monstrosities here label this prideful activity of theirs as a conventional and effortless task. While their efforts of explaining such a task is questionable, one can still be appalled by the abnormality of it all.

The task begins with the “simplest” of ideas, in which topiary takes place. Varying colors and outlandish symbols litter the scrunched appearance of what a common object is to hold. They have stated how there is “never enough” of this odd form of topiary that they carry in their animal skins. To accompany these multiple vivid topiaries are these miniscule, flat discs of varying sizes and masses; there is even a greater surplus of these present than of the vibrant pieces.

However, despite the fact that there is a scant amount of mentioned resources (or so they state) - and despite the endless amount they can obtain - these monstrosities partake in a very interesting trade. In exchange for these odd objects that hold a distinct smell of animal skin, consumable necessities are granted, as well as multiple layers of material to hide their slime-less, dry bodies. This practice of theirs, however, is also grantable to those without much of (or any) these small, tradable objects. Instead, an even more miniscule quadrilateral plastic object is used by an adroid to magically remove the tradable objects in which they may contain in a fair away treasury - which then allows for their trade to occur.

If it weren’t horrendous enough, these monstrosities also have specially coded pieces of topiary - these in which decrease the amount they’re required to trade. Snopou is what they call it, or so it is believed from their ancient and multiple tongues. Many of them take practice into collecting and arranging these specially coded pieces, as they are believed to be quite difficult to come by.

However absurd this practice may be, it occurs on a daily basis - from when their star is blazing in the sky to when it explodes and a deep obscurity settles into their atmosphere, back until when their star is reborn once more into a shimmering beauty.

These monstrosities are indeed peculiar to inspect upon, as they scuttle to and fro, multiple odd shaped luggages wrapped around their limbs as they attempt to stride with a purpose; hauling and hoarding these useless items. These luggages they seem to enjoy collecting vary in size, shape, and color. Flimsy luggage after another, their goods are held in an almost defensive stance, as if another were to attempt to steal their prized possessions. Depending on the monstrosity that collects these luggages, the more (or considerably less) they may defend.

However bizarre these monstrosities may be, their practices sure are enticing.
Props to whoever can figure out what I wrote about.
This was a paper for English I had to write back in October 2014 where we were required to pretend that we were extraterrestrial beings first entering Earth.
